Project: Carol Ann Read Breast Health Center

The path from the waiting area to the dressing and procedure rooms takes one through Faith’s Place, a memorial to a beloved local TV anchorwoman, Faith Fancher, who lost her battle with breast cancer. On the wall of the rotunda her portrait, biography and quotations by Mother Teresa and Maya Angelou illuminate her personality. This intimate space is a warm and soothing setting, a meaningful focal point in a center designed to provide a positive and caring healthcare experience. This memorial was created through coordination with Friends of Faith, Inc. and the hospital foundation.
